Vulnerability Description | SSL Protections use a SSL protocol parser which uses a default port of TCP/443, but this port can be reconfigured. |
SSL Parser Engine Settings allows you to reconfigure the SSL to run on a TCP port other than 443.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
This protection's log will contain the following information:
Attack Name: SSL Protection Violation.
Attack Information: SSLv3: Illegal Server Extension Length
