Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Java Technology is a programming platform used for web applications in numerous forms. Java provides a system for developing and deploying cross-platform applications. The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in the Sun Java Web Start ActiveX control that fails to properly handle user supplied data. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system. |
This protection will detect and block the vulnerable ActiveX Control.
