Vulnerability Description | Enhanced Metafile (EMF) is an image format that can contain both vector information and bitmap information. A remote code execution vulnerability has been discovered in the way GDI+ handles EMF image files. The vulnerability is due to a memory corruption error in GDI+ that fails to properly process malformed EMF files. A remote attacker may trigger this issue by convincing a user to open a specially crafted EMF image file.
