Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Novell iPrint is an application that enables users to install and manage printers, or submit print job from a web browser. A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Novell iPrint Client. The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in the Novell iPrint Client nipplib.dll ActiveX control when checking certain parameters that are passed to it. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |
This protection will detect and block the vulnerable ActiveX Control.
