Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | The Citrix MetaFrame products are remote access and application publishing products built on Citrix' Independent Computing Architecture (ICA). The products allow for access and control of the remote hosts as well as deploying applications. There exists a memory access violation vulnerability in Citrix MetaFrame Presentation server. The flaw is due to improper handling of user supplied data in the messages. This issue can be exploited by an unauthenticated attacker to terminate the IMA service of Citrix MetaFrame Presentation server, causing a denial of service condition. In a successful attack case, the affected Independent Management Architecture service will terminate abnormally. The service will be unavailable until it is restarted manually. |
