Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Symantec System Center provides centralized systems and policy management for Norton Antivirus Enterprise Solution across multiple Windows NT and NetWare networks. The vulnerability exists in the IAO Service of Symantec Alert Management System 2 (AMS2). The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in the IAO service when processing crafted BIND messages. The vulnerability can be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to inject and execute arbitrary code on the target host. |
This protection will detect and block invalid BIND requests to the IAO Service.
