Vulnerability Description | The DHTML Editing Component ActiveX control provides an HTML editor that can be used to support dynamic Web site HTML editing in software. A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the DHTML Editing Component ActiveX Control. The vulnerability is due to a memory corruption error in the ActiveX control when it is used in Internet Explorer. A remote attacker could exploit this issue by convincing a user to visit a malicious Web page. Successful exploitation of this issue could allow remote code execution on the affected system. |
