Vulnerability Description | Microsoft Internet Explorer, a web browser developed and maintained by Microsoft Corporation, is the most widely used Internet browser. There is a vulnerability in the way Internet Explorer handles interaction between frames within a web page. It is possible for a malicious server to bypass restrictions that prevent keystroke events from passing between domains, and thus, allow for the logging of user keystrokes. It is possible for the attacker to steal information such as username/passwords, credit card information, and any other private information that the owner of the original site should not have. |
