Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A vulnerability exists in the way the graphics engine of Microsoft Windows processes of EMF and WMF image files. The flaw is a buffer overflow resulting from an unchecked user supplied size field value contained in an image file. This vulnerability, when exploited may allow a malicious user to take control of the affected host. In a successful attack, arbitrary code can be injected into the vulnerable process. The behavior of the target is dependent on the malicious code. When code execution is not successfull, the vulnerable application may terminate abnormally. |
