Vulnerability Description | TikiWiki, also known as Tiki CMS/Groupware or simply Tiki, is a powerful wiki-based Content Management System (CMS) which allows users and/or groups of users to manage their data on-line via a web browser. TikiWiki provides numerous features, including Wiki-based Documentation, Groupware, Blogging System, Image/File Gallery, Bug Tracking and so on. A vulnerability has been reported in the Content Management System software, TikiWiki. The flaw exists in improper validation procedures when accepting uploaded image files from remote clients. This vulnerability may be exploited by unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary scripts on an affected server within the security context of the HTTP server hosting the vulnerable application. In case of an attack where code injection and execution is successful, the behavior of the system is dependent on the intended purpose of the injected code. Any code injected into the vulnerable component would execute in the security context of the HTTP server. |
