Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google. It provides rich web browsing similar to other browsers such as FireFox, Opera, and Internet Explorer. Chrome is unique from other browsers because it follows a multi-process architecture: by default, a separate process is allocated to each site instance and plugin. A memory corruption vulnerability exists in Google Chrome that could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. The vulnerability is due to an error when handling malicious HTTP responses. In case of an attack where code injection and execution is successful, the behavior of the target will depend on the intention of the attacker. Any injected code will be executed within the security context of the currently logged in user. In case of an attack where code injection and execution is unsuccessful, Chrome may terminate abnormally.
