Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote buffer underflow vulnerability exists within nginx HTTP server. The vulnerability is due to an error when processing malicious HTTP requests. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending an HTTP request containing specially crafted URI to the target system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution within the security context of the affected service. An unsuccessful code execution attempt can lead to abnormal termination of the vulnerable program. |
