Vulnerability Description | AgentX++ is a C++ object API written by Frank Fock. It is an implementation of the AgentX protocol which is used in multiple applications; including RealNetworks Helix Server and Helix Mobile Server. A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in multiple products that use the AgentX++ software. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending maximum payload length value in a packet to the target server. Successful exploitation could result in remote code execution on the target system and may cause the application to terminate abnormally due to memory corruption, resulting in a denial of service condition. |
