Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Multiple memory corruption vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The vulnerabilities are due to the way Internet Explorer accesses an object that has not been correctly initialized or has been deleted. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will cause Internet Explorer to exit unexpectedly. Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities will crash the browser, and may allow execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system. |

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
