Vulnerability Description | MSXML is an application for processing Extensible Style-sheet Language Transformation in an XML file that allows programmers to create high-performance XML-based applications. A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML). The vulnerability is due to a bug in the way MSXML handles HTTP responses. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will exploit this flaw. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system. |
