Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) is a virtual private networking solution that provides secure remote access to corporate networks for remote employees and business partners. It incorporates various remote access technologies such as VPN, SSL-VPN, DirectAccess, and Remote Desktop Services. A spoofing vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG). A remote attacker could exploit this issue to acquire sensitive information, such as the user's credentials. The vulnerability is due to an error in the Forefront UAG that fails to validate and confirm redirection to an external Web site. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw by directing an UAG user to a local UAG URL that will redirect the user's browser session to an arbitrary site that will host the second stage of the attack. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow the attacker to impersonate a legitimate UAG Web interface. |
