Vulnerability Description | MySQL is a popular open-source implementation of a relational database that supports the Structured Query Language (SQL) for querying and updating stored data. A security bypass vulnerability exists in MySQL database server. The vulnerability is due to an error while parsing a table name argument of a COM_FIELD_LIST command packet. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability via a malicious COM_FIELD_LIST command packet. Successful exploitation of this issue will result in arbitrary code injection and execution within the security context of the service. |
