Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | Informix is a family of relational database management system (RDBMS) products by IBM. IBM Informix Dynamic Server is an online transaction processing data server. A stack buffer overflow exists in IBM Informix Dynamic Server Database. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient checks within a logging function of the oninit.exe process. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SET EXPLAIN command to a target server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected system. |
