Vulnerability Description | Novell ZENworks Configuration Management is an IT desktop computer management suite that is based on a client/server architecture. A management server collects and sends data of managed assets by communicating with client applications installed on computers, or via other management protocols. A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Novell ZENworks Configuration Management. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation within the ZENworks Server's UploadServlet. A remote attacker can leverage this issue to upload malicious files anywhere onto the target server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system with the privileges of the Administrator user. |
