Vulnerability Description | MHTML (MIME Encapsulation of Aggregate HTML) is an Internet standard that defines the MIME structure that is used to wrap HTML content. An information disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows MHTML protocol. The vulnerability is due to the way MHTML interprets MIME-formatted requests for content blocks within a document. To trigger this flaw, an attacker can specially craft a malicious web page and entice a target user to access it. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to access sensitive information on behalf of the target user. |
