Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A heap buffer overflow has been reported in Sybase M-Business Anywhere. M-Business Anywhere is a mobile applications development, deployment and management platform. The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in the server while handling specially crafted SOAP requests. A remote attacker could trigger this vulnerability by sending such crafted requests via POST requests to an affected server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will cause a heap buffer overflow condition, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the running service. Unsuccessful exploit attempt may cause the affected service to terminate abnormally. |
This protection will detect and block attempts to transfer malicious SOAP requests over HTTP.
