Who is Vulnerable?	Apple Computer QuickTime prior to 7.7.2
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime.
Vulnerability Details	The vulnerability is due to a signedness error when processing a specially crafted QTVR string. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a victim to open a specially crafted QuickTime VR file with the affected software. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-on user.

Protection Overview

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apple QuickTime QTVR QTVRStringAtom Parsing Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
