    Vulnerability Description A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

    Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to an error in the way System Center Configuration Manager handles specially crafted requests. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to spoof content, disclose information, or take any action that the user could take on the affected website on behalf of the targeted user.

    This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.

    In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

    Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

    1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft SCCM Reflected Cross-site Scripting (MS12-062) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
    2. Install policy on all modules.
