Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Oracle's Database server. |
Vulnerability Details | The vulnerability is due to an error in the way parameters are handled by the TABLEFUNC_ASOWN function in the CTXSYS.DRVDISP package. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the vulnerable Oracle database server and calling the TABLEFUNC_ASOWN function with a malicious parameter. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target server. |

1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Oracle Database CTXSYS.DRVDISP.TABLEFUNC_ASOWN Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings. 2. Install policy on all modules.
