Who is Vulnerable?	Novell Remote Manager 2.0.2 Release 99.10
Vulnerability Description	An off-by-one denial of service vulnerability has been reported in Novell Remote Manager.
Vulnerability Details	The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the HTTP Host header values. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to the vulnerable server. Successful exploitation would lead to a denial-of-service condition.

Protection Overview

This protection will detect and block malicious HTTP requests sent to the target.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Novell Remote Manager Off-by-One Denial of Service protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
