Vulnerability Description | Several ports are usually used to transfer HTTP traffic. Non-HTTP traffic over these ports may be used for malicious purposes. |
Vulnerability Details | Non-HTTP traffic over HTTP ports may indicate an attempt to pass malicious traffic to or from the network. |
IPS will detect and block non-HTTP traffic over an HTTP port.
This protection is only applicable for IPS gateway version R75.40 and higher.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
