Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A denial of service vulnerability has been reported in MIT Kerberos. The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference in the response dispatch routine in the Key Distribution Center (KDC) service. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed request packet to the affected service. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service condition in the target service. |
This protection will detect and block the transferring of malformed packets.
