Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the Squid proxy server. The vulnerability is due to an error while processing certain DNS replies. An attacker may exploit this issue by enticing affected users to open a link containing a host name, which will cause a malicious DNS reply. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-in user, or result in a denial of service condition. |
