Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Excel. The vulnerability is due to a use-after-free error while parsing Window2 records in Microsoft Excel files. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing an unsuspecting user to open a specially crafted Excel file, twice. Successful exploitation would cause memory corruption in a way that may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged on user. |
