Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Java software updater. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the source server from which the updater downloads files. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by either poisoning a user's DNS cache or intercepting the user's Java update session. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the target user. |
