Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in ImageMagick. The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in the ImageMagick library while handling specially crafted ResolutionUnit tags in EXIF headers. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a malicious image file with an affected program or by uploading a malicious image file to a vulnerable server. Successful exploitation would cause memory corruption in a way that may lead to code execution. |
