Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM). The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in a certain function within ov.dll. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to a vulnerable server. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the security context of the Internet Guest Account user on Windows platforms. |
