Vulnerability Description | An information disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The vulnerability is due to the way that the toStaticHTML API within Internet Explorer handles content using specific strings when sanitizing HTML. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to perform cross-site scripting attacks against affected users, resulting in script execution in the target's security context. |
