Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Tftpd32. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the DNS component of Tftpd32 handles specially crafted domain labels. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted DNS query to a vulnerable Tftpd32 server. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target server, in the security context of the logged-on user. |
This protection will detect and block specially crafted DNS requests.
