Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol. The vulnerability is due to a memory corruption caused by an attempt to access an object that has been deleted. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a sequence of specially crafted packets to the target system. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-on user. |
This protection will detect and block a sequence of specially crafted packets.
