Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the Microsoft Windows networking components. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the Windows networking components handle specially crafted Remote Administration Protocol (RAP) responses. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a sequence of specially crafted RAP responses to the target system. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-on user. |
