Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in multiple ABB products.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to insufficient data validation by the RobNetScanHost.exe service when processing certain robot availability announcements. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted packets to an affected service. Successful exploitation could result in a denial of service condition or arbitrary code execution on the targeted system.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the ABB Multiple Products RobNetScanHost.exe Stack Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
