Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Paint. |
Vulnerability Details | The vulnerability is due to an integer overflow error when Microsoft Paint fails to properly decode a malformed JPEG image file. A remote attacker might exploit this issue by convincing a user to open a specially crafted JPEG file. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code on an affected system. |
This protection will detect and block the transferring of malformed JPEG files over HTTP.
