Vulnerability Description | A denial of service vulnerability exists in Linux Kernel with UDP Fragmentation Offload (UFO) enabled. |
Vulnerability Details | The vulnerability is due to improper handling of UDP packets over IPv6 with a size larger than MTU when the kernel is configured with the TBF qdisc. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted packet to a vulnerable server. Successful exploitation can result in memory corruption which leads to a denial of service condition. |
