    Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the InformationCardSigninHelper Class ActiveX control, icardie.dll.

    Vulnerability DetailsWhen the InformationCardSigninHelper Class ActiveX control is instantiated in Internet Explorer, the control allows constructing a specially crafted webpage and may corrupt the system state in such a way that an attacker could run arbitrary code.

    Protection Overview

    This protection will detect and block the transferring of a specially crafted HTML file to the target

    In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

    Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

    1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft Windows InformationCardSigninHelper Class ActiveX Control Code Execution (MS13-090) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
    2. Install policy on all modules.
