Vulnerability Description | A spoofing vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Java SE. |
Vulnerability Details | The vulnerability is due to improper use of Canonicalization algorithm while validating the signature of a specially crafted XML file. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to modify the content of an XML file without invalidating the signature associated with the file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow the attacker to abuse the trust between the target and a third party. |
