Who is Vulnerable?	Novell eDirectory 8.8.6.x prior to 8.8.6.7 Novell eDirectory 8.8.7.x prior to 8.8.7.2
Vulnerability Description	A stack buffer overflow exists in Novell eDirectory NetWare Core Protocol (NCP) stack. The vulnerability is due to lack of bounds checking in the KeyedObjectLogin function. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending TCP packets with malicious data.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Novell eDirectory NCP Stack Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
