Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol. The vulnerability is due to a race condition in the Microsoft SMB implementation that fails to properly handle specially crafted SMB responses. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted SMB response to a client-initiated SMB request. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow execution of arbitrary code on the target system. |
