Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Intel's SDK for UPnP and the Portable SDK for UPnP. The vulnerability is due to a boundary error while parsing UUID: service name URIs in the unique_service_name() function called from the SSDP protocol parser. Remote unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code within the context of the vulnerable service, normally root. |
