Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An integer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Adobe Flash Player. The vulnerability is due to an error in Adobe Flash Player when resampling a user-supplied PCM buffer. A remote attacker might exploit this issue by convincing a victim to open a specially crafted SWF file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system. |
This protection will detect and block attepts to transfer malformed SWF files over HTTP.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
