Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way that the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI) processes specially crafted image files. The vulnerability is caused by a memory corruption when the Windows Graphics Device Interface improperly processes a specially crafted image contained in a Windows Write (.wri) file. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a victim to open a specially crafted Windows Write file. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system. |
