Who is Vulnerable?	XnView XnView prior to 2.04
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in XnView.
Vulnerability Details	The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in processing image data in certain PCT files. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to open a maliciously crafted file. A successful attack can lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the user.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the XnView PCT File Processing Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
