Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Office Word. The vulnerability is due to insufficient data validation by Microsoft Office Word when handling rich text data. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a victim to open a specially crafted Rich Text Format (.rtf) file in Word. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system or cause application crashes.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R70 / R71 / R75 and above

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft Word RTF Data Parsing Buffer Overflow - Ver2 protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
