Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) is a popular web browser application. The browser is capable of processing HTML, scripting languages, and interpreting various other popular Internet specifications. A remote code execution vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The vulnerability is due to an error in Internet Explorer while processing scripts that call certain methods on invalid HTML elements. A remote attacker may exploit this issue to inject and execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will crash the browser, and may allow execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system.
