Who is Vulnerable? EMC Connectrix Manager Converged Network Edition 12.0.3 and prior
Vulnerability Description A code execution vulnerability exists in EMC Connectrix Manager Converged Network Edition. The vulnerability is due to lack of authentication and insufficient input validation in the FileUploadController servlet of http-fileupload .war when processing HTTP requests. A remote unauthenticated attacker can upload arbitrary files to arbitrary locations.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R70 / R71 / R75 and above

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the EMC CMCNE http-file-upload.war FileUploadController Arbitrary File Upload protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
